What does it say to you when you're the 'new boyfriend' yet her voice mail message still says that her, her brother, and her ex-boyfriend can't come to the phone? And she doesn't change it even after being told about it; even by the 'new boyfriend'? I mean, if it were me, I would've immediately changed something like that because I'm sure roles reversed... any girlfriend of mine wouldn't want ANY mention of any of my ex's anywhere. Especially when they call me, get my voice mail and have to hear that my ex isn't there either. Then again, maybe I'm being too trivial. What does it matter anyway?
Before I even knew what was happening, this girl I'd come to love deeply over such a short period of time, is gone. A shooting star: just as quickly as it appears, its beauty vanishes into the night in a brilliant flash; leaving you with little more than the intangible memory of what once was.
I just wonder if the voice mail message has changed?
